Lumenal
Lumenal (lumenal.ai) is an AI spiritual-readings platform: personalized readings across eight belief systems, real computed natal charts, tarot and oracle decks, a premium annual report, a metaphysical shop, social connections and a gamified journey — wrapped in a warm ivory-indigo-gold brand. This site is the single reference for where the project stands, where it's going, and what's being decided.
The full platform now runs on AWS: repo nnolasco/lumenal-aws, live at d2ted2wy8rjgfj.cloudfront.net — Aurora MySQL (Data API), Lambda Function URLs, Cognito with lazy password migration, S3 + CloudFront for app and media, direct Gemini API. The Lovable site remains live and untouched; pointing lumenal.ai at CloudFront (registrar CNAME + ACM cert) is the remaining cutover step. Migration-era statements below this callout describe the pre-migration state.
The one-paragraph situation
The web product is rich and live, but it was authored on Lovable and runs on Lovable's Supabase project and AI gateway — and it cannot take money: every payment surface is a stub. The mobile app is a polished but read-only shell whose code isn't committed. On July 10 the strategic direction was set: migrate to AWS-native services, call Gemini directly, and treat docs/index.html as the canonical architecture document. The near-term focus is therefore threefold: turn on payments, start the migration with the cheap high-leverage steps, and validate the mobile concept with real users before committing to the 22-week native build — which is what the three focus-group apps in this site are for.
How this site is organized
Current State
Honest snapshot of every repo: web, mobile, infra, docs — with the standing risks called out.
Feature Inventory
Every feature with a completeness badge: routes, reading types, edge functions, data model, admin console.
Progress
Per-track progress bars, the project timeline, and what "done" means for each track.
Checklist
The living task list: every track as a checkable list with saved completion dates.
Ideas
Ranked backlog for retention, revenue and product depth — plus what's deliberately parked.
Plan and Direction
The four parallel tracks (platform, revenue, mobile, design) with sequencing.
Decisions to Make
Nine open calls — four design, five functional — each with options and a recommendation.
Editorial Comps
The active design round: eight look directions with four built as full comps, plus the recommendation.
The focus-group program
The top three mobile concepts — Lumenal Daily (habit loop), Lumenal Guide (conversational companion) and Lumenal Deck (immersive tarot) — are built as complete, working apps with in-app feedback capture, ready to hand to testers. The Mobile Test Apps page has the apps, the testing protocol, and the metrics that pick the winner.
1 — Rotate the committed dev credentials and commit the untracked mobile app (both under an hour). 2 — Start the Stripe checkout build. 3 — Send the three test apps to the focus group so concept data collects while you build.
